About me

For over 20 years, I have dedicated my career to public education, serving as an instructional aide, teacher, counselor, and administrator. These experiences have given me a perspective on what helps students succeed and reinforced my belief that every school board decision should begin with one question: How does this benefit students?

A student-centered approach means creating learning environments where every child can grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Achieving that depends on strong educators. Supporting teachers through professional development, instructional resources, and compensation is essential to student success. When educators feel valued and have the tools they need to thrive, students benefit from stronger instruction, stability, and richer educational experiences.

As a high school counselor and member of the Auburn community, I have seen the impact dedicated teachers and schools have on young people. I have also experienced the importance of collaboration among boards, district leadership, educators, families, and the community.

I am seeking to serve on the Auburn Union School District Board to ensure decisions reflect students’ interests while supporting the educators who make success possible. By maintaining a vision, investing in our people, and working collaboratively, we can build schools where every student has the opportunity to succeed.
